慢充及快充的區別

1. 交流充電（俗稱「慢充」）

電力公司以交流電（Alternating Current，AC）的方式將電力傳輸到每一用戶，電力進入電器後就會由交流電轉為直流電（Direct Current，DC）。

交流充電是指電動車充電站透過充電電纜，將交流電直接流入電動車。電動車上的交流直流轉換器（AC/DC轉換器），將交流電轉化為直流電，為電池充電。交流充電最高可達 22 kW 的充電功率，充電時間比直流充電長，一般充電時間需要數小時。由於充電樁不需要轉換器，造價較低，即使充電時間較長，也十分適合於等候時間較長的私人場所如商場、住宅等。

2. 直流充電（俗稱「快充」）

快速充電站使用直流充電的模式，充電電流可高達 500 A，充電功率可達 500 kW，大大縮短充電時間，最快可在十多分鐘左右完成充電。

跟交流充電不同，直流充電的電車充電站，交流直流轉換過程會在充電樁內完成。由於 EV充電樁需配備精良的電子設備，直流充電樁建造成本較高，主要用於商業用途。
